In the next few weeks, Marabel Farms will be launching Marabella, a completely unique cacao recipe.
Most people think of cocoa as the main ingredient of chocolate, or even a stand-alone food. However, cocoa beans have rare and virtually unknown recipes all over the world.
For 70 years, a Caribbean farmer has kept the secret of a rich, delicious dessert made from cocoa beans. Unlike chocolate, which is developed in the kitchen, Marabella’s unique flavor is brought into life at the farm, in the fermentation process. Straight from the field, the beans are fermented and the result is a rich, complex flavor that brings a new sensation with every bite.
Marabella is both a delicious treat and an extremely healthy one. Made from 70% cacao, Marabella is a dessert that carries all of the scientifically-proven benefits of cacao.
Marabel Farms first introduced this product in September in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month by former MLB player Jose Lima. Lima, a one-time all-star, uses “Marabella during baseball games,” and says that Marabella “has a lot of positive effects” on his body.
